With 2008 well underway a few things happen… The ball drops, the resolutions are made… and BASEBALL begins! Back by popular demand, your AA has purchased 4 season tickets to the Milwaukee Brewers! These seats are located directly above 1^st base in the terrace seating and are available to all alumni through out Brewer ticket auction. Last year this fundraiser raised over $1400 and we hope this year the brewers go all the way! We will hold an auction starting on 1/27/08 this auction will be open until 3/28/08 midnight. Once the auction ends any tickets bid on will be sold to the alumni with the highest bid, any not bid on will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for the minimum bid price. We would like to extend a big CONGRATULATIONS!!! to George Olson, Alpha Class #28. George will be inducted into the UWP Athletic Hall of Fame on November 3^rd, 2007. There will be a ceremony (@9:30) and luncheon (@11:00 - $15/plate) in the Ralph Davis Stadium prior to the UW-Platteville vs UW-Oshkosh football game. All TKE Alumni, undergraduates and friends are encouraged to attend. George went to UWP for Industrial Education & Safety. He was Phi-Delta-Chi VP, the Swimming Team Capitan from 1967-1968, and Swim Team MVP 1965-1966 and 1966-1967. George was also responsible for leading the charge to bring national fraternities to UWP. Through his dedication and Hard work the University allowed us to Petition TKE for membership!
